We started New Iron as a product company, but that didn’t work out so well. After nearly going broke, we gave up on the product and started working as consultants. Our client asked us, “Do you know anyone else that can code?” That was the day we became a software-niche recruiting company. Incidentally, we’re a bunch of technical folks running a recruiting business. We love software and are great at interviewing for software skills.
